1 Peter 1:7 KJV
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory....
Trial is not meant to destroy us. It is not designed to weaken us either. It rather perfects and strengthens. It prepares one for a greater responsibility, it is an aptitude test for promotion, it offloads one of every trust in self and man and points him to His maker as the Source. It re-directs and re-focuses.
But because we feel the pains, the heat and hunger often associated with challenges, we often feel the night is too dark and seems not to be in a hurry to give way for the day and often, we are tempted to believe the sun may never shine again.
Come to think of it, so long as we are still in this flesh and blood, life will be boring, so boring without challenges; when you have everything you ever needed, when you drink everything you thirst for, when you eat everything you have appetite for, when you can afford everything that money can buy, when you go anywhere that crosses your mind. But then, we will be doomed as we may seem not to have any need for God.
In Psalm 43:5, The Psalmist in the maze of this seeming uncertainty found faith in the ability of God's unfailing love and promises, 'Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him...
There are things that must keep us going in the face of the reality of passing through the 'wilderness.' Anytime I go through challenges, I use to ask myself, 'What if God has just told the Host of Heaven that He knows Emechebe, that this his present challenge will rather bring out the best in him than make him derail, can I afford to disappoint God? This keeps me going.
God knows that you can stand that trial; He would not allow it if you could not. It is His love for you that makes Him want to bring out the best in you however bitter it may be at such a time. God knows our strength and ability more than we think we know. With Prayers, Thanksgiving and Supplications, keep believing Him that the 'siege' will soon be over as He will definitely bring you to your Place of Abundance.
KEEP MOVING, THE STONE WILL SOON BE ROLLED AWAY!
Remain Blessing
